Torker Pro XL (1998)
1998 Torker Pro XL - USA Made
This Bike started as a used ALUMINUM Torker Frame that I purchased off of E-Bay. (These are SUPER hard to Frames to find) The frame was advertised as a 1999 model but after some research I believe it to be a 1998 model. (I'm not 100% sure) A host of high end parts were added to finish off the build . . . Redline Flight Cranks, Skyway Graphite Tuff Wheels & Box Brakes to name a few. All of the parts are brand new however the frame is a 98/99 “Pro XL” model and as mentioned it is “used” and does have some scuffs/scratches but overall it looks great but I do want to stress it is a used Frame! . Disclaimer, I'm not sure how many years Torker made these Aluminum Frames but I don't believe it was many. With that being said I believe this is a 1998 or 1999 model. . This is a European Version of the Vans Limited Edition. (Only 250 made for the US market and 250 for the Euro market) 500 Total. Frame # 500. (See Photo below of the Serial Number) It comes with Front Brakes also! (Included but not currently installed) The Front Brake was part of the Euro package, not available on the U.S. models! Haro Master – 40th Anniversary Model (2022)
2022 40th Anniversary Haro Master!
I swapped out a few parts to help this resemble Bob's bike a bit more but I kept all the original parts in there original packaging for the future owner! First I swapped out the Spoke Wheels for the Legendary Skyway Graphite Mags! The original wheels are safely stored for the future owner. I also swapped out the Seat & Seat Post for a Blue Seat which is what you'll see in most of the 80's photos of Bob's bike. Again the stock seat & post were never unwrapped or installed. I also ordered some Blue over Green AME Unitron Grips which will match the bike much better than the Red/Yellow Oakley's. (Not installed during the photo shoot) The last little detail is the Blue Headset Spacer. These were shown on the YouTube video but never made it into production. I ordered a complete Haro Headset just to get the spacer and I believe it looks better as it matches the Blue Seat Post Clamp! All of the original parts will be included in the sale. . . I kept ALL of the original packing material and took good photos of where everything goes in the event it does sell someday.
