This is a European Version of the Vans Limited Edition. (Only 250 made for the US market and 250 for the Euro market) 500 Total. Frame # 500. (See Photo below of the Serial Number) It comes with Front Brakes also! (Included but not currently installed) Note: US Models did not receive the Front Brake. GT Speed Series “Team” (1998)
1998 GT Speed Series "Team"
. This Bike started as a used 1998 Frame that I purchased off of E-Bay. I then wet sanded the frame and polished it to look like new again. A host of high end parts were added to finish off the build . . . GT Cranks & Cook Brothers Brakes to name a few. All of the parts are brand new, the frame is a 98 Speed Series "Team" model and as mentioned it is "used" and does have some scuffs/scratches that didn't polish out. Overall it looks great but I do want to stress it is a used 1998 Frame! Please Note: 1998 Decal Sets are not currently available so it has the 1997 Decals . . .
